Dear fellow anglers, as we enjoy the snowy Icelandic winter, our thoughts drift towards the forthcoming opening of the seatrout fishing season on April 1st and of course the salmon season, that opens in June. The lengthening days serve as the initial reminder to start checking our fishing gear. Reflecting on the past summer, our rivers, namely West Rangá and the Urridafoss waterfalls, had a good average season, mirroring the success of our trout and char rivers. Have you made plans for the 2024 season?
